Mawasem Palestinian olive oil
A Moon Valley product. This extra virgin olive oil comes from the Kufr Qadoum Co-operative in Palestine. It was selected by the national tasting panel as one of the very best Palestinian olive oils produced from the 2011 harvest.
The oil has an earthy scent, reminiscent of the terrain of the West Bank, with aromas of wild thyme and za'atar leaves. It is a good all-rounder, suitable for cooking, dressings and for dipping your warm pitta in (try to then dip your bread in za'atar and have some bitter olives on the side for a complete rural Palestine experience).
